PlumbQuote Terms of Use
The short version
- PlumbQuote is free to use for up to 3 estimates. PlumbQuote Pro unlocks unlimited estimates and removes the “Created with PlumbQuote” footer.
- Pro is sold as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in your Apple Account settings.
- Your estimates are always yours. If you stop paying, you can still open, edit and share every estimate you already made.
- You are responsible for the prices, taxes and terms on your estimates. Reference information in the App is a guide, not a substitute for your local plumbing code.
Agreement
PlumbQuote (“the App”) is developed and published by Nghia Dinh, an independent developer (“I”, “we”). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). If these Terms and the Standard EULA conflict, these Terms apply to the extent allowed by Apple. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

Free plan
Without a subscription you can create up to 3 estimates in total, and PDFs include a small “Created with PlumbQuote” footer. All other features — customers, the price book, PDF sharing and printing — work on the free plan.
PlumbQuote Pro
PlumbQuote Pro unlocks unlimited estimates, removes the PDF footer and adds automatic iCloud backup. It is offered as:
- Pro Monthly — an auto-renewing subscription billed every month. New subscribers may be offered a discounted first month.
- Pro Annual — an auto-renewing subscription billed every year. New subscribers may be offered a free trial.
- Pro Lifetime — a one-time purchase that unlocks Pro for as long as the App is available. It is not a subscription and never renews.
The price, billing period and any trial or introductory offer are shown on the purchase screen before you buy, in your local currency. At the time of writing, US prices are $7.99/month (first month $3.99 for new subscribers), $49.99/year (with a 7-day free trial for new subscribers) and $79.99 for Lifetime. The price shown in the App Store at the time of purchase is the one that applies.
Subscription billing, renewal and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends.
- Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within the 24 hours before the current period ends.
- If you start a free trial, you will not be charged if you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- An introductory price applies only to the first billing period stated in the offer; the subscription then renews at the regular price.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in iPhone Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions, or in the App Store. Cancelling stops the next renewal; Pro stays active until the end of the period you already paid for.
- If a price changes, Apple will notify you in advance as required, and you can cancel before the new price applies.
Refunds and restoring purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple, and we cannot issue refunds or see your payment details. To request a refund, use reportaproblem.apple.com. If you reinstall the App or move to a new iPhone signed in to the same Apple Account, tap Restore Purchases in Settings to get Pro back.
If your subscription ends
When Pro ends, the App returns to the free plan. Nothing you created is deleted or locked: you can still view, edit, share and print every existing estimate. You will not be able to create new estimates beyond the free limit, the PDF footer returns, and automatic iCloud backup stops. Backups already in your iCloud Drive stay there until you delete them.
Your content and your estimates
You own everything you enter in the App — your business details, logo, customers, price book and estimates. It is stored on your device (and in your own iCloud with Pro), not on our servers, so you are responsible for keeping your device and backups safe.
PlumbQuote is a tool for preparing estimates. You are solely responsible for the prices, quantities, markups, taxes, terms and any other content of the estimates you send, and for your agreements with your customers. The starter price book contains rough placeholder prices only; set your own before using them. Please check every estimate before sending it.
Reference information
Any fixture, sizing or code-related reference information in the App is provided for convenience only. Plumbing codes vary by state and local jurisdiction, and the information may be incomplete, out of date or not applicable to your job. Always verify requirements with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and the codes that apply to your work before installation. The App does not provide professional, engineering or legal advice.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App for anything unlawful or fraudulent, and not to copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the App except as permitted by law or the Standard EULA.
Third-party services
The App relies on services from Apple (App Store, iCloud), RevenueCat (subscription status) and Google Firebase (anonymous usage data). Those services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for their availability.
Disclaimer of warranties
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not promise that the App will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that calculations and reference information are free of mistakes.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data or business losses, arising from your use of the App or from estimates prepared with it. Our total liability for any claim relating to the App is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you; nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes to the App and these Terms
We may update, change or stop offering features of the App. If these Terms change, the new version will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
